Hidden Washer/Dryer In The Mud Room

This laundry room doubles as a mud room and since it is one of the main entrances of the home, we wanted to disguise the appliances when they were not in use. The solution was to build a cabinet matching the rest of the cabinetry in the home. With doors that look like over sized drawers to cover the washer and dryer, smaller cabinets sitting on top for soaps and an additional broom cabinet it was mission accomplished. Our partner company, RJT Construction built the cabinets and Combs Painting finished them with Miller Paint’s Breakthrough paint. The counter top is a butcher block stained dark with several coats of finish.
